I...don't really know how I feel about this page. The first panel is okay, I was having a lot of trouble with the lighting because my screen was acting really stupid, and the panel was too light, too dark, blablablah. I'll probably update it later, once I get the hang of that type of lighting.

And the light is supposed to come from florescent lightbulbs!! I need to work on lightbulbs. But for now I like how you can't really see them, because all of the viewer's attention should be mostly on the two figures. Who are not aliens, fyi.

I have to say I really like how #871's eyes came out. It was fun adding the reflections.

And I'd like to explain something here, so no one gives me any irritating critiques. I'm doing the comic in a rather sketchy style, a) because I like the way it looks, b) I think it's pretty uncommon, and c) because in situations of, fear, anger, shock, and other intense emotions, I can really get "messy" for added chaos. SO, it is not me being sloppy. A lot of work and love goes into these pages; if I thought they were sloppy I wouldn't post them.

And another thing: I know my canine teeth placement stuffs is way off, but again, I want to add chaos and disorganization to the situation. If you had a strange dog leaping in your face with a mouthful of razor sharp teeth, do you think you'd care whether or not they were anatomically correct? I know I wouldn't. Also, these pages are from #871's perspective, and as a puppy everything would be bigger and more threatening, especially without his mother there.

I felt badly about drawing #871 with such a frightened expression, I just want to hug him! Poor guy.

Isn't it funny?! I ended a cliffhanger with ANOTHER cliffhanger! I think it's really funny I know what's going to happen, and I get a lot of comments like, "OMG what's gonna happen?!" Sorry, I just think it's a little funny.

Does anyone know how to make word bubbles with jagged edges, like in panel 3? I have to draw all of those points with the selection tool, and it's really annoying, so if anyone knows an easier way, or of a really good tutorial, please tell me!

I guess that's all there is to say on this page! Onto work with page 9!
