Back I go to the dark #871 stuff. :meow:

Happy Halloween everyone! My second one here on deviantArt. :D

I was at a loss as to what to draw, so I chose one of my favorite phrases, "Who's pulling the strings?" and just sketched up what first came to mind. And the result was this messy and distracting thing, with totally demented anatomy. :)

This is sort of a reference as to what's going to happen later in the novel. If you think about it:
Who's pulling the strings, and they just lost their grip. Hmm...

Anyway, thanks for looking!

ah i love it :D the roughness really add to this misarable and creepy feel it has, poor boy all tangled up, and indeed whos pulling the strings and messes up ;)

Ooo...I like! I did a similar thing ages ago with one of my rpg horse characters. He thought that he was being controlled by a puppetor(sp?) so i drew him with strings attached lol. XD Awesome conscept, I really like it! :D

this is really amazing! i love the roughness and dark colors it makes it more creepy. and the big round eye is sort of scary until you look at it better and realise that the ummm..thing(XD) is actually more like, what is happening! I think you did really well on the anatomy and i just love the pose. BUT, there is one thing that seems off to me, see all the strings are wavy, like whoever is control him just let go, so maybe if at areas like around the waist, the head and the front and back paw that are raised should have a tighten, straighter string.
once again, really love this piece, keep up the aweome work XD

I love the entire concept of this! You pulled it off so well to! I really like his pose too.
I personally think the anatomy is great! Even if it's not spot on, it has its own feel to it.

Actually, the piece is titled "Broken Strings," and in the picture as well as the artist's comments, it says whoever's pulling the strings lost their grip, so the strings wouldn't be tight.
